ROUNDUP

THURSDAY, JUNE 28

2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

CHELSEA HOTEL

Gerrard Room, Ground Floor

33 GERRARD ST. WEST

(closed-door session with pre-selected writers/directors)

In an effort to evolve and expand production opportunities for women writers and directors in Ontario, the Female Eye Film Festival is rounding up established Ontario-based producers and emerging women producers for a new industry initiative.

Over the years, we have noted that many women writers/filmmakers are not on the radar of local producers. The goal of the Ontario Producer Roundup is to team emerging and established women producers, who will then meet with award-winning Female Eye directors and writers culled from 15 years of the festival to participate in a program geared toward the production of features directed by women. The writers/directors will pitch their feature projects in closed-door sessions with this group of esteemed Ontario producers.

By engaging producers in this program, we move steadily toward correcting the gender inequity that plagues our industry
