RUTH BIRMAN SHORT BIO
Ruth has been obsessed with UX from an early age. Her mom worked in a factory, and after one particularly long day Ruth asked her what had happened. Ruth’s mom explained that the engineers had changed how the line operated without consulting the workers and that the implementation was a failure. This story resonated with Ruth throughout her 12-year career of observing human factors in hardware and software.
